Who is collecting information through the Globalocity Registration Portal?
AetherQuest Solutions, Inc. ("AetherQuest"), Digital River's event partner for the 2012 Globalocity conference, operates the 2012 Globalocity Registration Portal for Digital River and collects and manages the information collected through the portal.

What information is collected through the Globalocity Registration Portal?
In connection with your registration for the 2012 Globalocity conference, you will be requested to provide certain information (including without limitation your name and address, phone and email contact information, information about your relationship with Digital River, and certain information relating to your preferences for the 2012 Globalocity conference) in order to register you as a conference participant. You will be required to provide payment account information through this portal for the payment of the registration fee, and/or to secure a hotel room if available, if you select payment by credit or debit card. We also can accept checks for the registration fee. Your personal information is being provided to AetherQuest's servers in the United States in connection with your registration through the Globalocity Registration Portal.

Why is this information collected?
The information you provide through the 2012 Globalocity Registration Portal is collected in order to allow AetherQuest and Digital River to register you for the 2012 Globalocity conference, and to allow you to reserve a hotel room (if available) if requested.

How is this information used?
AetherQuest will only use your provided information to process your registration for the 2012 Globalocity conference, and to reserve a hotel room (if available) based on your request.

With whom is this information shared?
AetherQuest will provide certain portions of the collected information with Digital River in order to allow Digital River to provide you with access to the 2012 Globalocity Conference. Digital River will use and store your information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

If you elect to pay the event registration fee via credit or debit card, Digital River's payment processor will charge your credit or debit card for the registration fee, and AetherQuest will provide your credit or debit card information to Digital River's payment processor for this purpose. This charge will appear on your credit card as "Digital River InvoiceMinnetonka".

If you elect to secure a hotel reservation through the Globalocity Registration Portal, a credit or debit card must be provided to hold your room. You will need to provide your credit or debit card to AetherQuest to secure a hotel reservation separately from the payment information you provide for your Globalocity registration fee. AetherQuest, as your agent, will securely store your credit or debit card information and will provide your payment information to JW Marriott LA Live, the hotel provider for the 2012 Globalocity Conference, once Marriott begins accepting room reservation requests in order to secure your hotel room reservation. You will receive a confirmation email from Marriott once your room has been reserved. Your card will not be charged for the room fee at the time of reservation, but will be used to charge your room at the time of your stay unless you provide a different form of payment at check-in. Please review the cancellation policy for your reserved room as you will incur a charge for late cancellations.
