Qualifications & Directions

  • To nominate your company for an ICE Award, you must complete and submit the online entry form below. Please note this form cannot be saved; you must complete the form in its entirety before submitting.
  • Entrants must be current Digital River clients.
  • With the exception of the Lifetime Achievement award, the campaign or initiative that you describe in the ICE Award entry must have launched and generated measurable results no earlier than January 1, 2016.
  • Your company can enter multiple award categories, but only one category can be submitted per entry form.
  • Judges will select one winner for each 2017 ICE Award category.
  • Candidates and winners of the ICE Awards should be willing to disclose “measureable results.” It is preferred that you share the financial results of your ecommerce campaigns and strategies. However, important metrics (actual or percentage increase) that represent barometers of success must be shared.
  • All entry forms must be submitted to Digital River by Monday, March 13, 2017.

Tips for Writing Memorable ICE Awards Entries

  • Include financial results.
  • Include additional measurable results (i.e. increased close ratios by x percent; sales for product y increased $z or x percent; increased operational efficiencies by y percent; site traffic increased x percent).
  • We're looking for a detail-rich explanation about your ecommerce objectives, program and results.

The Process

  • Deadline for entries is Monday, March 13, 2017.
  • Nominations will be reviewed, and finalists and winners will be selected by a panel of Digital River executive leaders.
  • Three finalists will be selected for each of the 2017 ICE Award categories.
  • Finalists will be notified via email the week of March 20, 2017.
  • Finalists will be asked to provide digital assets (i.e. logos, product photos, etc.) that will be used in materials for the ICE Award presentation. Materials will be due Friday, March 31, 2017.
  • Winners will be announced live on stage at the ICE Award Ceremony, May 10, 2017 during the Globalocity event in Los Angeles, California. Finalists are requested to be present to accept their award.
  • Winners will be highlighted on the Digital River corporate website, and included in a press release, social media posts and blog post. This may include a company logo.
  • Winners of the ICE Awards may have opportunities to speak to the press on a pre-approval basis.
